- No woman may work in a shop or commercial establishment after 8 p.m., or in an establishment for public entertainment other than a cinema or theatre after 6 p.m.This comes from the Labour Department's reprint of the Act in the West Bengal Labour Gazette 2011. Its footnotes run to the amending Act of 2002, so an amendment after that would not appear in this copy; and the scan carries a previous reader's yellow highlighting on the page dealing with the recovery of wages.
