An interim direction, not a fixed minimum wage. The State made this order under section 3(b) of the United Provinces Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 to settle labour unrest in Noida and Greater Noida, and it directs these rates be paid “as an interim relief” in employments where minimum wages are otherwise fixed under the Minimum Wages Act, 1948. The order itself records that Uttar Pradesh's minimum rates under that Act still rest on the consumer price index average for July to December 2012, and that the revisions due from 1 April 2019 and 1 April 2024 were never carried out.

- The order supersedes the Labour Commissioner's order No. 1477-84 (M.W.)/15 of 25 March 2026, except in brick kilns, where wages are fixed on a piece-rate basis and the earlier order continues.
- It covers the employments in which minimum wages are otherwise fixed under the Minimum Wages Act, 1948 — the order records that there are seventy-four such scheduled employments in the State.
- The three categories were proposed by the Department of Labour and agreed by both employers and workers before the order was made.
- The English text is a translation published under clause (3) of Article 348 of the Constitution. Its header carries an unsubstituted template placeholder where the approval date should be.
The notification states monthly rates only. The order publishes monthly rates only. Rule 3(2) of the Uttar Pradesh Code on Wages Rules, 2026 divides a month by twenty-six for a day and by a further eight for an hour, but those rules are made under the Code on Wages and this order is not, so no daily figure is published here.
