A&N Islands Shops and Establishments Regulation, 2004, as amended in 2025
- Who the Regulation applies to
- Shops and establishments employing 20 or more persons, or that employed that many on any day of the preceding twelve months. Below twenty it does not apply — though the OSH Code does, from tenSection 1A, inserted by the (Amendment) Regulation, 2025
- Discharged before leave is taken
- Where an employee entitled to leave is discharged before being allowed it, or where the leave applied for was refused, the employer pays full wages for the period of leave due at the time of dischargeSection 14(5)
- Discharged while sick or injured
- The employer pays the amount due under section 14 for the leave the employee was entitled to at the time of dischargeSection 14(6)
