What it says
Section 11(11) substitutes the whole Schedule to the 1979 Act. For employees earning monthly salary or wages: nil not exceeding ₹8,500; ₹90 above ₹8,500 to ₹10,000; ₹110 to ₹15,000; ₹130 to ₹25,000; ₹150 to ₹40,000; and ₹200 above ₹40,000. The ₹8,500 line and the ₹90 band were changed by the Finance Act, 2016.
