The notification sets these rates for sixty-seven scheduled employments and identifies them only by serial number — 1 to 36, 39 to 55, 57 to 66, 68, and 70 to 72. The document that names those serial numbers is listed on the Labour Department's register as “Minimum Wage Act List Serial No.” of 28 February 2025, and it could not be retrieved: the register's file store refuses the request. So whether shops and commercial establishments is one of the sixty-seven is not confirmed here. What can be said is what follows if it is. The notification carves out the employments that get different rates — slate-pencil works, printing presses, agriculture, government daily-wagers, bidi and agarbatti, and three employments added under a High Court order — and shops is not among the carve-outs, so a shops establishment inside the schedule takes exactly the table above. Treat this as the strongest evidence available rather than as a settled match.

Madhya Pradesh sets one wage table for the whole State and revises it every six months. Basic pay and the variable dearness allowance are published separately, and the total is published too.
