- Not yet addedThe Madhya Pradesh Shops and Establishments Act is the State law that would answer this, and it is plainly in force — the department made Shops and Establishments (Fire and Hazard Prevention) Rules under it on 3 June 2026 and registers establishments under it online. No text of it could be read. The department's own document register lists its Acts and rules but serves none of them: its file store refuses the request, and the State's e-gazette hosts do not resolve. This is a gap in what can be read, not a doubt about the law, and it is being worked separately.
