One statewide rate for each grade; the notification sets no zones.
Basic rates only. These are basic rates. The notification says they may not be split into allowances, and that they are to be adjusted in full for rises and falls in the consumer price index as the Code on Wages rules prescribe. Haryana's rules under the Code have so far been published only as a draft (4 May 2026), so no price-index adjustment has been published and none is added to these figures.

The same notification also says
- They apply to every establishment and factory under the Code on Wages, including contract labour. Rates for brick kilns are to be notified separately.
- Men and women are paid the same.
- Where workers are engaged through a contractor, the principal employer is personally responsible for these rates being paid.
- A day's wage is the monthly rate divided by 26; deductions are worked out on the monthly rate divided by 30.
- Trainees get 75% of their category's rate, never less than the unskilled rate, for at most one year. Apprentices are paid under the Apprentices Act, 1961.
