These are basic rates that may not be split into allowances; they are to be adjusted in full for changes in the consumer price index as prescribed in the Code on Wages rules.

Basis

Basic minimum rates fixed for all employments in Haryana from 1 April 2026 under section 8(3) of the Code on Wages, 2019, replacing the rates of notification 3/42/83-3 Lab of 21 October 2015.

Coverage

The rates apply to establishments, factories, employees, workers and contract labour as defined in the Code on Wages, 2019. Rates for brick kilns are to be notified separately.

Daily.Basis

A day's wage is the monthly rate divided by 26; deductions are calculated on the monthly rate divided by 30.

Equal Pay

There is no difference between the wages of men and women workers.

Principal Employer
