Why there is no table on this page

The Labour Department's front page carries the heading “MINIMUM RATES OF WAGES FOR THE PERIOD FROM 1ST APRIL 2026 TO 30SEP 2026”. That is the instrument a reader needs, and the department announces it on its own front page, but the link behind that announcement serves no document — it posts back to the same page and returns nothing. Five routes were tried on 28 September 2026: fetching the link directly; replaying the page's form postback with a valid session, which returns a server error; requesting the department's document directory, which refuses a listing; reading the Chandigarh Administration's own Orders & Notifications feed, which carries no Labour Department item at all; and clicking the link in a real browser, which reloads the page and downloads nothing. This desk does hold a copy for an earlier period. It is deliberately not published: the department's own headline says which period is current, and printing superseded figures underneath it would be worse than printing none. A further period begins 1 October 2026.
