Telangana minimum wages revised from 1 June 2026
G.O.Ms.No.6 of 30.05.2026, under the Code on Wages, 2019, sets basic monthly rates for all establishments in three zones: ₹16,000 to ₹20,000 in municipal corporations and ₹14,000 to ₹18,000 in rural areas. A cost-of-living allowance is to be notified from 1 April and 1 October each year. The 1 October 2026 one was past due and not found when we looked on 2 October 2026: labour.telangana.gov.in's dated wage folders run to 01042026, and 01102026 returns 404. Not found is not the same as not issued, so its currency is unconfirmed. The order is subject to pending cases in the High Court.

Telangana PT: nil up to ₹15,000 a month
Salary and wage earners pay ₹150 a month from ₹15,001 to ₹20,000 and ₹200 a month above ₹20,000, under the First Schedule of the Telangana Tax on Professions, Trades, Callings and Employments Act, 1987, as the Commercial Taxes Department publishes it.

Telangana LWF: ₹2 employee, ₹5 employer a year
Section 10 of the Telangana Labour Welfare Fund Act, 1987 sets the contributions at ₹2 a year from each employee and ₹5 a year from the employer for each employee. Establishments with twenty or more persons are covered.
