What it says

The Act that levies the labour welfare fund contribution and defines which establishments owe it. Section 2(4) sets applicability — a factory, a motor omnibus service, a plantation or workshop with no headcount of their own, and any other establishment only above fifty persons. Note that this consolidation is NOT current on section 7A(2): the contribution it prints, twenty/forty/twenty rupees, was substituted by Karnataka Act 5 of 2025 and its footnote still cites the 2017 amendment as the latest.
