Chandigarh Administration, Home Department, Labour & Employment Branch. In partial modification of Notification No. 12/2/149-HII(2)-2025/12994 dated 14 August 2025, and in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 28 of the Punjab Shops and Commercial Establishments Act, 1958 as applicable to the Union Territory of Chandigarh, the Administrator substitutes three conditions of the exemption so as to align them with the Principal Act as amended by the Punjab Shops and Commercial Establishments (Amendment) Act, 2025, which the Ministry of Home Affairs extended to Chandigarh on 5 December 2025.
