What it says
Notifies ₹25,000 a month as the wage ceiling for the purposes of Chapter III of the Code on Social Security, 2020, in supersession of S.O. 2702(E) of 29 May 2026, with effect from publication. Under section 2(89) the wage ceiling is the wage at or below which a person becomes a member under Chapters III and IV. EPFO publishes this on its homepage as the 'Wage Ceiling Circular 28.09.2026'; it is a gazette notification, not a circular.
