The same notification also says

• The notification takes effect "with immediate effect". It names no commencement date of its own: it is dated 27 February 2025 and the gazette that published it is dated 12 March 2025. Both dates are shown on the minimum wages page and this desk does not choose between them.
• Whether these rates have since been revised is not known. The notification says the wages will be increased every six months by adding a variable dearness allowance linked to the All India Consumer Price Index Number of Industrial Workers (General Series), base 2016 = 100, and more than a year has passed — but Manipur has no working labour department website to check against, so this is the latest instrument held rather than a confirmed current one.
• Only three grades are defined — unskilled, semi-skilled and skilled. There is no highly skilled rate, and none is shown.
• The minimum rate of wages for persons below eighteen years of age, and for disabled persons, is 100% of the rate applicable to an adult employee of the corresponding category.
• Trainees are paid not less than half the relevant minimum rate for their first six months, and full wages not below the minimum thereafter. Apprentices are regulated under the Apprentices Act, 1961.
• There is no difference between the rate of wages of a man and a woman employee.
• It issued with the concurrence of the Finance Department (PIC) and was printed at the Directorate of Printing and Stationery, Government of Manipur.
