The Commissioner of Labour's announcement of the daily special allowance payable on top of the basic rates for 1 April 2026 to 30 September 2026: ₹60.50 a day for the 46 scheduled employments, ship breaking, and sweeping and cleaning; ₹145.00 a day for six employments — brick production, zari, readymade garments, salt, tobacco and bidi making, and agriculture.
